The Dream

A recent dream disturbed my sleep.
It was not a horror show.
More to the point it was an exact
Thing of my life. It was real.
Yet, it was a dream. Colorful
And quite vivid, I saw much of it
While I recall mere parts. The
Actors including myself were all
Having fun? I cannot say. I
Do not understand. I find it
Hard to sleep again. What did I
Forget? Was it the present?
Was it the past? Could it have
Been a sign of the future? I
felt it? I saw it. Was it
A dream or a nightmare? The sub-
Limits at work were telling me
What? This type of communication
Scares me. How should I interpret
The mind? I sit up in bed and Ponder
this demise. To no avail
This thing has me. And I still
Find it hard to sleep. I do not
Understand.
